Soon-To-Be Surprises!

Not that any of you have a problem navigating Etsy yourself...but I figured I'd post a few of my fave finds to celebrate the imminent gift-giving season!
First up - I kind of love this pin by PearsonMaron:

And by "kind of" I mean ADORE! I honestly don't know why. Maybe it's how wonderful the craftsmanship is. Maybe it's the cute-and-cuddly persona they're giving such a gruff beast. I don't know! But either way, I bought one for me and one for my boss! (And they arrived in two days!) The shop has lots of other amazing handmade keepsakes. Do yourself a favor - check out the shop!

If you're a bigger spender (or want to buy me something REALLY nice), this felted shawl by Lithuanian designer Vart is spectacular. Be warned: this is only for the fashion-focused girl, but if purchased correctly, it's a sure-fire way to get a squeal and a few tears. Trust me.

This is another piece of Etsy gold that had me credit card in hand faster than you can say "You don't need that". Argentinian designer macraMe handmakes these macrame owl necklaces in all sorts of colors. They're very reasonably priced, too!

And Pittsburgh-based (hooray!) artist StrawberryLuna screen prints amazing art, calendars, and other adorable items for the adorable-junkie in your life.
What are your big Etsy finds? I still have a lot of shopping to do, haha.

I am interested in macrame owl necklaces and am learning to make them. There are many pics of how to do this at
rapidshare , but I still need more time and practice to produce something decent ;)

Love those owl necklaces! I instantly heart'd their shop.
I plan on getting a friend of mine some bubble bath from Red Leaf: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ShopRedLeaf and I got another friend some amazing bookmarks from Elsa Mora http://www.etsy.com/shop/elsita (they sold out, but she has amazing work!). I also got my boyfriend a handmade cutting board.
On my wishlist I have a brooch from Designer Playground http://www.etsy.com/shop/designerplayground and I think a great business to support would be our local honey co-op http://www.etsy.com/shop/OneHoney
And, if I may be a self-promotional jerk (haha, well, I remembered you asked) my jewelry shop is up and running too: http://www.etsy.com/shop/branchbound
