I know our blogging community is a very crafty bunch, and I'd like to think that I am no exception! Sure, shopping is my first great love, but crochet and drawing come in at a close tie for second. The weather is still cold, so crochet is my time killer of choice. I just recently finished my favorite project in recent memory for Susan, my boss (and friend).
I should have photographed something next to it for reference, but it's pretty big. I think it should fall around the belly button.
I used Lion's Brand Vanna White collection in whatever colors seemed to look nice together. I have most of her hues in the house at all times - it's cheap, soft, and comes in the BEST shades of everything! According to the label, she's America's favorite crocheter. Who knew?
The little bows are my favorite part. They're so cute and easy to make. I want to attach them to everything! What do you do to pass the time when the weather sucks?
ALSO: I just got Twitter! My name is MySolCon. So far Shaq, Conan, shitmydadsays, and Susan are the only people I follow. I don't get it! Add me, I need friends! I swear I only say awesome stuff.

Posted: 03.04.2010 I'm so lazy. I love to lay in bed with the covers pulled up to my chin, my dog beside me, and a hot cup of tea close by and watch old movies or read. I only knit when I'm stressed out...and apparently its very amusing to watch:)

My grandma's sister use to crochet/knit me dolls. I have this Cinderella who went from dirt poor hillbillie to puffy white haired princess in a flip of a skirt. My hobby at the moment is making ellaborate back stories to sims characters and then getting them pregnant. I know, I know...Issues :D Posted By: fiftyseven
